    This Privacy Policy applies to ShowerFix New Zealand Limited (“ShowerFix NZ”, “we”, “us”) and all ShowerFix franchisees operating throughout New Zealand (together, the “ShowerFix Network”).

    We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).

    This policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you interact with ShowerFix NZ or any ShowerFix franchisee

Who we are

  • ShowerFix New Zealand Limited is the franchisor and operator of the ShowerFix franchise system.
  • ShowerFix franchisees are independently owned and operated businesses that provide services under the ShowerFix brand.

Both ShowerFix NZ and its franchisees are responsible for complying with the Privacy Act in relation to personal information they handle.

What personal information we collect

  • Property and job location details
  • Quotes, invoices, and payment-related information
  • Communications with ShowerFix NZ or a franchisee

Sharing information within the franchise network

As part of operating a franchise system:

  • Personal information collected by a ShowerFix franchisee may be shared with ShowerFix NZ for system operation, quality assurance, reporting, training, dispute resolution, and compliance purposes.
  • Personal information may be shared between franchisees where necessary to provide services or manage customer enquiries.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • Use of software systems

    The ShowerFix Network uses software systems approved or required by ShowerFix NZ to manage bookings, scheduling, invoicing, customer communication, reviews, and operational data.

    These systems may store personal information securely on behalf of the ShowerFix Network and may allow access to relevant information by ShowerFix NZ and franchisees for legitimate business purposes

  • Geolocation information

    Our systems may collect geolocation information relating to jobs or franchisee operations. This information is used only for operational, scheduling, safety, and service-delivery purposes and is not retained longer than reasonably necessary.

Disclosure to third parties

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Members of the ShowerFix Network
  • Trusted service providers (such as trade partners required for your job, software, IT, payment, and cloud service providers)
  • Professional advisers (including lawyers and accountants)
  • Government agencies or regulators where required by law

If personal information is stored or processed outside New Zealand, reasonable steps are taken to ensure it is protected to standards comparable with New Zealand privacy law.

Privacy breaches
